Ombre powder Brows is a permanent make up technique for clients who prefers fuller and defined result than Microblading hair strokes but still very soft and natural. Its done with a handheld small tattoo pen, sterilized needles and tools to deposit thousands of tiny dots of pigment into the upper layers of skin, gradually building up the color and defined shape. The tails of Ombre powder brows are darker and fades into a light, misty fronts. These brows are smudge-proof, sweat-proof, and water-proof and it lasts up to 3 years or more depending on frequency of touch-up. This is the best technique in the industry because it is perfect for all kinds of skin, and in my personal opinion as a PMU artist is the only one I use for my clients.

Who shouldn’t get cosmetic tattooing done?

- Individuals under 18 years of age

- Individuals who are pregnant or nursing

- Individuals who are diabetic or Epileptic

- Individuals with transmittable blood diseases (HIV, HEPATITIS, ETC.)

- Individuals with heart condition or hemophiliac

- Individuals who are taking blood thinners

- Individuals on accutane ( MUST WAIT 1 YEAR AFTER LAST DOSE)

- Individuals undergoing active chemotherapy or radiotherapy

- Individuals with Botox/ Fillers in the area (MUST WAIT AT LEAST 4 WEEKS AFTER TO GET COSMETIC TATTOOING)

What is the client preparation?

1. Do not consume alcohol, caffeine or blood thinners 2 days prior

2. Avoid tanning or sun burning your face a week prior

3. Do not wax thread or tint your brows before the procedure

4. Do no get Botox on or near the brow area 2 weeks prior

5. Avoid chemical peels or microdermabrasion on 2 weeks prior

6. Book your appointment at least 2 weeks in advance of special occasion

What to expect ?

The depth of the color will be considerably darker than you may expect, don’t panic it is completely normal. Over the next 7-10 days the color will fade and may take 4-6 weeks for the true color to come through. Don’t be alarmed if the color seems to disappear during the healing process this is temporary.

What symptoms can I experience after my ombré powder brows procedure?

Flaking, tenderness, dryness and itching, swelling and redness

Is the Touch-up necessary?

Absolutely yes, all permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. Touch-up is always needed for a complete and desired look. Brows will hardly be perfect after one session. Book your touch-up to be at least 4 weeks after your first session.

Is necessary the after care?

Absolutely yes!!

- Avoid water contact for 7 days. If the area gets wet, pat dry gently with a clean towel or new tissue.
- Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers to avoid getting Bacteria on them. Keep your hair away from the area.

- Apply a thin layer of your brow repair (Vitamin A+D ointment) twice a day staring for the 3rd day until the procedure area has healed. ALWAYS USE A CLEAN COTTON SWAB FOR APPLICATION AND NOT YOUR FINGERTIPS

- Things to avoid for 7-10 days: brow makeup, make up in that area, SUN, saunas, jacuzzi, and chlorine pools.

-Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area is while it is healing. AVOID PICKING , don’t be tempted to remove any scabs by force that may form on the treated area as this may remove pigment along with it.

- Do not engage in physical activities such as bathing, recreational water activities, gardening, or contact with animals for the initial 7-10 days.

- Do not SCRATCH AREA

- Do not SLEEP ON AREA
